Boutique Burgundy Pillar Candles

In the Kootenay region of southeastern British Columbia Canada, Honey Candles® produces top quality candles made from 100% pure Canadian beeswax. Our wax is obtained from the finest Alberta apiaries and has been rendered and triple filtered to ensure its purity. Our candles are solid beeswax, to which we add only cotton wicks (lead and zinc wicks are never used). Great care is taken to pour and box each candle by hand. We conduct extensive burn tests to maintain and ensure quality control. If you have any questions about our pure beeswax candles or if for any reason you are not satisfied with our product, please contact us.

Candle Care

  • When burning your candles, be there to enjoy them DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BURNING CANDLE UNATTENDED
  • Votives and T-lites must be burned in appropriate holders
  • Be careful with "closed type" candleholders - beeswax burns 2-3 times hotter than other candles
  • Trim wicks to 1/4 inch before lighting, trim again before each lighting
  • For a more even burn keep wick centred
  • Burn larger diameter candles long enough to create a melt pool across the top of the candle
  • Soft unmelted wax around the edge of the candle can be molded in towards the wick to extend the life of the candle, or just left to form a mantle which will create a soft glow. To extinguish the wick on a pillar candle, simply dunk into the melt pool and restraighten. This makes for an easy relight.
